The program was organized by Topflighter Academy under the supervision of Akpan Funke. This year’s edition is the third one.

The club was created to spark creativity, curiousity and very importantly enlightened students on who they are as ‘Digital Citizens’.

Moreso, we help spark creativity in them and thereafter showcase their talents to the world. The children also learnt how to develop skills such as:

2️⃣ Self Discovery

3️⃣ Creativity

4️⃣ Digital Citizenship

5️⃣ Collaboration (and many more)

The event started on Friday 13th – Sunday 15th August, 2021 with various sessions like talks, games, musical performances etc. The connections were made virtually.

The convener (Akpan Funke) and other judges awarded consolation prizes to three children with excellent creative works. Their creative contents were in the form of drawings, spoken words, painting, singing, story writing etc.

These are the names of the children who participated in the contest: Smita Suddhakar,Enoch Abe, Adetola Mirabel, Eniola Ahmed, Moromoke Taiwo, Julianne Minimah, Oketola Rereloluwa, Odeyemi Oluwatise, Oluwaseun Taiwo and

First position was Oluwatise Odeyemi, a 13 years Saxophonist.
First Runner Up: Julianne Minimah: a 9 years old author. Second Runner-up: Oluwaseun Taiwo and Marvelous Onyekachi who co- created a moving car.

The judges did a tremendous work by listening and watching each of the creative work submitted. The judges are Charity Thomas,John Emmanuel, Dr. (H.C) Rupam Mukherjee, Femi Joshua and Oyegbola Shola. We had in attendance the following guest speakers: Bukola Amao-Taiwo, Fehintola Emmanuel, Sola Adeola, Dr. (H.C) Rupam Mukherjee and Akpan Funke.

The children learnt how to discover their purpose, launching their creativity, being good digital citizens,creating a balance amongst the use of technology, academics and talent and how to their confidence and self esteem.
